It’s been a busy week this week. Some blog maintenance, catching up with real life, etc. So, this week’s cocktail hour is a casual one. My outfit this week is inspired by the casual, yet elegant French style I saw in Paris (yes, still riding on the Parisian high).
To sip on while I’m relaxing this Friday evening, a lesser know, but still delicious gin cocktail called the South Side. Crisp and citrus-y, it’s a perfect ending to a hectic week.
5 mint leaves
1 oz fresh lemon juice
2 oz gin
1 oz simple syrup
Gently muddle mint leaves and lemon juice in a shaker. Add gin, simple syrup, and fill shaker with ice. Shake and then strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with mint or twist of lemon
